IT First Response

About

Hi, I'm Mario, the person behind IT First Response. I spent the last four years in corporate IT, working hands-on with Windows systems, computer hardware, and Windows 365 environments. During that time, I saw how much time and money gets wasted on slow support and unnecessary complexity. That's why I started this business.

I believe Lee County deserves better: fast turnaround, fair pricing, and someone who actually knows what they're doing. Whether it's diagnosing a virus, setting up a new computer, or keeping your system running smoothly, I handle it all with the same attention to detail and urgency I brought to every corporate job. Beyond that, I started IT First Response because I want to deepen my field experience and work directly with the people and businesses I'm helping, not hidden behind a ticket queue.

Small business IT, without the IT department

Four years in corporate IT means I've spent my days inside Microsoft 365 and Azure, managing user accounts and licensing, standing up email and Teams, enforcing multi-factor authentication, and deploying company-managed laptops that arrive configured, secured, and ready to hand to a new hire on their first morning. That experience is in a healthcare organization operating under HIPAA and HITRUST standards, so careful handling of sensitive data is simply how I work.

Here's the thing. Most small offices already run the same Microsoft tools the big companies do. They're paying for 365 licenses right now. What they don't have is anyone who knows how to set them up properly, so accounts get shared, former employees keep access for months, laptops are configured one-off by whoever had a free afternoon, and nobody finds out the backups were never turned on until something breaks.

That's the gap I fill. Onboarding a new employee so their accounts, email, and machine are ready on day one. Removing access cleanly when someone leaves. Setting up MFA so a stolen password isn't a company-wide emergency. Standardizing the computers in your office so they're all configured the same way and can be wiped remotely if one walks off. It's the same discipline an enterprise IT department applies, brought to a business that doesn't need, or want, to pay for one.
