Privacy Policy

Who we are
IT First Response LLC is a Florida limited liability company providing managed IT and security services to businesses across Lee County, Florida. You can reach us at support@itfirstresponse.com or (401) 203-5032. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we handle it.
Information you give us
Booking a consultation. The booking button on this site opens Cal.com, a separate scheduling service. Your name, email address, and anything you type into the booking notes are entered on their site rather than ours, and they pass the booking through to us. Cal.com handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Emailing or calling us. If you get in touch directly, we keep what you send so we can answer you and pick up where we left off next time.
Requesting a Security Check. When you ask for a Security Check, you'll share some information with us. This includes your name, your email address, your company's name, the domain needing review, the type of workplace you have, and any extra comments. We keep your request in our files. An email with these details is sent to our company so our team can begin assisting you. You won't receive an immediate reply; someone will respond personally later. Payment or card details are never requested.
Client support data
Previously, you accessed our site to create and monitor support tickets. We have removed that function from the website. Now, we handle your requests using MSP360. This platform functions separately from our online presence.
MSP360 retains data related to your support interactions, such as details you provide when seeking help, messages we exchange, and work time logged for invoicing purposes. Information in MSP360 is governed by its own privacy policy and its terms of service.
Information collected automatically
Our host, Vercel, records standard server and request logs when you visit the site. These can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and timestamps. We use this only to keep the site running and to investigate errors.
We also measure site traffic so we can tell which pages are worth keeping and how people found us. Vercel Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics do this without setting cookies. Google Analytics does place cookies on your device, and Google handles what it collects under its own privacy policy. We read all three as aggregate patterns rather than to build a profile of you, and we do not sell what we collect or share it for anyone else's advertising.
Records from earlier versions of this site
Until July 2026 this site had a public contact form and a self-serve checkout for monthly plans. Both have been removed and nothing new is written to those records. The submissions and subscription records we received while they were running are still stored, because they are a record of work we did and money that changed hands. If one of them is yours and you would like it deleted, ask us.
How we use your information
We use what you give us to:
- Answer your question and schedule your consultation
- Perform the work you asked us to do and follow up on it
- Track time worked so we can invoice you accurately
- Keep records of the work we have done for you
- Comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations
- Keep the site running and see which pages are useful
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for anyone else's advertising.
Billing
Your invoices are handled by Stripe. Our website does not process payments; you will not find a checkout here. When you pay, your payment details are sent to Stripe. We do not see or keep these details. Stripe's privacy policy explains how they manage your information, and you should review it.
Service providers
We use a small number of third parties to run this site and the business behind it. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase holds everything visitors submit from the site, including Security Check requests and older records.
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps its server logs.
- Resend delivers messages informing the company about Security Check requests, never to the requester.
- MSP360 maintains client requests and the time spent addressing them.
- Cal.com handles consultation booking on its own site.
- Google provides Google Analytics, which measures site traffic.
- Ahrefs provides Ahrefs Web Analytics, which measures site traffic without cookies.
- Stripe generates invoices for clients, a process that occurs elsewhere.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Information on your devices
During on-site or remote support work, we may see files, accounts, or other content on your equipment. We access only what is needed to do the work you requested, we do not copy or retain your personal files beyond what a job requires, and we do not share what we see with anyone. Any backup or transfer we make at your request is handed to you and removed from our equipment once the job is complete, unless you ask us to keep it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages from you and records of the services we provide. This holding begins while you are a client. It continues after you are no longer a client. Rules about taxes and accounting tell us how long to keep these records, often several years. Records from older forms and subscriptions are held the same way. You can request that we remove your information. We will do so unless a law requires us to keep it.
Your choices
Email us at support@itfirstresponse.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion. You can turn off Google Analytics for every site you visit using Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to your information to what is necessary to run the business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
