Managed IT that keeps your business running
When your systems go down, so does your revenue. Your team stops billing, customers cannot reach you, and the day gets spent firefighting instead of working. I keep your computers, email, and data running so that does not happen, which means the hours your team puts in are spent earning, not waiting on IT. You get proactive monitoring and maintenance that heads off problems before they turn into downtime, and fast help the moment you need it.
Working with one dedicated technician who already knows your setup is simply more efficient than calling a stranger every time something breaks. There is no call center, no ticket sitting in a queue, and no explaining your systems from scratch, so problems get diagnosed and fixed faster. The longer we work together, the more I know what your office runs on and where it tends to break, which means fewer issues and quicker fixes. The terms are simple too: no user minimum, no multi-year lock-in, and everything we agree written down before we start.
Limited monthly openings. Only three new offices are onboarded each month, so every setup stays thorough and nothing gets rushed. Once the month's spots are filled, the next opening is the following month.
I bring enterprise security discipline to small business IT. My experience is in IT for a healthcare organization operating under HIPAA and HITRUST standards, where access control, encryption, and documented process are daily requirements. Your business may not face those regulations, but you get the same habits: least-privilege access, encrypted backups, and changes that are documented rather than improvised.
You are covered if something ever goes wrong. IT First Response carries technology errors and omissions and cyber liability insurance, so a mistake or a security incident is my risk to carry, not yours. Ask any time and I will send a certificate of insurance.
A few questions worth asking yourself
- If your main computer or your files went down tomorrow, how long until you are back up, and who fixes it?
- Are you backing up your Microsoft 365 separately, or assuming Microsoft does it for you?
- When something breaks, who do you call, and how long do you wait?
- Is anyone actually watching your machines, or do you only hear about problems once they have already stopped you working?
If any of those gave you pause, that is exactly what I take care of. I handle it, and I prove it, with monthly reports and backups I actually test. You always know it is working.
Security is not a separate line item
Most providers sell managed IT as one product and security as another, so you end up deciding how much protection to buy and finding out later which gaps you left open. For a business your size, that split does not make sense. The multi-factor login, the encrypted laptop, the patched machine and the backup that has actually been restored are not extras bolted onto your IT. They are what your IT being set up correctly looks like.
So there is one plan, one bill, and one person accountable. You never have to work out whether a problem belongs to the IT contract or the security contract, because it is the same contract and the same phone number.
Your first 30 days
Getting started is simple, and you are covered from the very first week. Here is what onboarding looks like.
- Week 1: I get every computer monitored, protected, and backed up, turn on multi-factor authentication across your accounts, and clean up any old logins or lingering access that should not still be there.
- Weeks 2 to 4: I patch and update everything, standardize your machines so they are all set up the same secure way, and test that your backups actually restore, not just that they are running.
- By day 30: your team knows exactly how to reach me and how to spot a bad email, and you start getting a plain monthly report so you always know what I am doing behind the scenes.
Simple monthly pricing
It all comes together in one managed plan, billed at $125 per user per month, with no seat minimum. Whether you have three computers or twelve, you cover only the people you need. Each user adds one hour of remote support per month, pooled across your whole team, so a five-person office has five hours a month to draw from however they need. Hours are for day-to-day issues during business hours and reset at the start of each billing month. A one-time onboarding fee of $150 per user covers bringing your systems under management, and it is waived if you choose an initial term. You can see the full breakdown on our pricing page.
- Covered: monitoring, patching, security, backup, and account changes on your covered machines, plus your pooled hours of remote troubleshooting during business hours.
- Billed at $125/hr: remote time beyond your monthly pool, on-site visits, after-hours and weekend work, new-device or new-office projects and migrations, cabling and hardware, and support for software outside your managed stack. I will always tell you before work moves into billable territory.
